The tests performed on the Foolad machine complex are considered destructive tests, which are destroyed during the test process.
In this type of test, a sample of the structure is tested and the lateral force is applied to the beam or column, depending on the type of structure. The force increases until the sample structure embedded in the device fails. The failure point, the test time and the magnitude of the force and the displacement of the structure are the most important and vital factors in times of crisis for the main structure. For this purpose, very precise sensors are considered in the device, which provides the behavior of the structure for the analysis of the engineers of the complex.

The research and development unit of Foolad machine neka targeted the design and construction of a dedicated connection in order to solve the challenge of designing and implementing the connections. Satisfaction with all the requirements of the regulations, executive ease and economic efficiency are among the most important features of this connection. In line with this, the company has invested in this sector to create and equip the structural laboratory and loading frame with the ability to perform experiments in real dimensions. Among the features of the above laboratory, these items can be considered: strong floor, loading frame, 32-channel data, loading jack (Actuator ), displacement gauge، Stress gauge as well as proprietary software for automatic testing based on the desired loading protocol.
